The first series contains Deedy’s personal correspondence with Bishop Wright dating from 1951 to 1981. The collection contains materials collected and used by Rev. Kelly to write the histories and biographies during the course of his career. His work included a history of Mount Saint Mary’s College and a biography on Rev. James Mullen. The collection also includes personal correspondence, and a two volume autobiography written in 1906. There is photographs and images of individuals featured in his writings as well as notes on a biography of Bishop Fenwick of Boston.
