This record group documents student organizations at the College throughout its history with the earliest materials dating to 1848. Records of these organizations are arranged into the following eleven series: Academic Organizations; Arts Organizations; Campus Service Organizations; Club Sports and Recreational Organizations; Media Organizations; Multicultural Organizations; Peer Education Organizations; Philanthropic Organizations; Pre-Professional Organizations; Religious Organizations and Special Interest Organizations. Within each series, individual clubs and organizations are arranged in alphabetical order.

Historical Note

The Economics Club (founding date unknown) was a student organization from the 1960s devoted to the discussion and study of economics. The club held coffee hours with professors, lectures, forums, and debates. Topics from this period included the anti-poverty program, the Vietnam War, Labor Unions, and more.
