Historical Note
The Physics Society was devoted to developing interest in the study and research of physics, and to offer space for students and faculty to engage in conversation. In at least the 1960s, the Society was a chapter of the American Institute of Physics Society of Physic Students. The club also developed "Cross-Product," which served as the publication for student research in physics. The members of the society also were eligible for Sigma Pi Sigma, the Physics Honor Society.
