This record group documents student organizations at the College throughout its history with the earliest materials dating to 1848. Records of these organizations are arranged into the following eleven series: Academic Organizations; Arts Organizations; Campus Service Organizations; Club Sports and Recreational Organizations; Media Organizations; Multicultural Organizations; Peer Education Organizations; Philanthropic Organizations; Pre-Professional Organizations; Religious Organizations and Special Interest Organizations. Within each series, individual clubs and organizations are arranged in alphabetical order.

Historical Note

Limbo Coffee House was a student organization founded in 1966 with the purpose of creating a space for students and faculty to commune, and to hose entertaining and educational events for the community. The Coffeehouse operated out of Campion House, and was run entirely by first and second year students. The club also began the Limbo Players theater troupe in February 1967.
