Scope and Contents
This record group documents student organizations at the College throughout its history with the earliest materials dating to 1848. Records of these organizations are arranged into the following eleven series: Academic Organizations; Arts Organizations; Campus Service Organizations; Club Sports and Recreational Organizations; Media Organizations; Multicultural Organizations; Peer Education Organizations; Philanthropic Organizations; Pre-Professional Organizations; Religious Organizations and Special Interest Organizations. Within each series, individual clubs and organizations are arranged in alphabetical order.

Historical Note
The Apocalypse Coffee House was founded with the intention of providing a space for students to offer and engage in entertainment, discussions, and food in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The coffee house sought to be the focal point of all campus poets and musicians, and to provide freshmen with opportunities for leadership and socializing.
