This record group documents student organizations at the College throughout its history with the earliest materials dating to 1848. Records of these organizations are arranged into the following eleven series: Academic Organizations; Arts Organizations; Campus Service Organizations; Club Sports and Recreational Organizations; Media Organizations; Multicultural Organizations; Peer Education Organizations; Philanthropic Organizations; Pre-Professional Organizations; Religious Organizations and Special Interest Organizations. Within each series, individual clubs and organizations are arranged in alphabetical order.

Historical Note

The Irish Students Union (also known as Aondacht na Scolairi Eireannach in Irish) was founded in 1993 to be a means by which members of the Holy Cross community can learn about and be exposed to the Irish culture, including dance, history, music, custom, and language.
