Scope and Contents
This record group documents student organizations at the College throughout its history with the earliest materials dating to 1848. Records of these organizations are arranged into the following eleven series: Academic Organizations; Arts Organizations; Campus Service Organizations; Club Sports and Recreational Organizations; Media Organizations; Multicultural Organizations; Peer Education Organizations; Philanthropic Organizations; Pre-Professional Organizations; Religious Organizations and Special Interest Organizations. Within each series, individual clubs and organizations are arranged in alphabetical order.

Historical Note
The Pride/Outfront file contains records of groups such as ABiGaLe and Allies, whose function on campus was to provide support to the students belonging to the LQBTQ+ community on the Holy Cross Campus. Allies was founded to create a humane campus environment for all persons regardless of sexual orientation. members were committed to educating themselves and the campus community regarding issues related to homosexuality and bisexuality. The Association of Bisexuals, Gays, and Lesbians (ABiGaLe) was founded to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of gay, lesbian, and bisexual students.
