Scope and Contents
This record group documents student organizations at the College throughout its history with the earliest materials dating to 1848. Records of these organizations are arranged into the following eleven series: Academic Organizations; Arts Organizations; Campus Service Organizations; Club Sports and Recreational Organizations; Media Organizations; Multicultural Organizations; Peer Education Organizations; Philanthropic Organizations; Pre-Professional Organizations; Religious Organizations and Special Interest Organizations. Within each series, individual clubs and organizations are arranged in alphabetical order.

Historical Note
Women's Organization, later known as Women's Forum, was founded in 1973 with aim to be a vehicle for the coordination of women's activities on campus, unify all female students both on and off campus, incorporate women into all facets of student activities, and recognize the specific needs of women students. The group held events such as Women's Week and the controversial "Vagina Monologues".
