Scope and Contents
This record group documents student organizations at the College throughout its history with the earliest materials dating to 1848. Records of these organizations are arranged into the following eleven series: Academic Organizations; Arts Organizations; Campus Service Organizations; Club Sports and Recreational Organizations; Media Organizations; Multicultural Organizations; Peer Education Organizations; Philanthropic Organizations; Pre-Professional Organizations; Religious Organizations and Special Interest Organizations. Within each series, individual clubs and organizations are arranged in alphabetical order.

Historical Note
The Drug Inquiry Commission was a student group founded in conjunction with the college administration to lead research and education on campus and within the community on the use of drugs. The student group'a purpose was "to give an objective presentation of fact regarding the question of drugs." The group created a symposium in 1968 on the subject of drugs.
