Historical Note

Rev. Joseph N. Dinand, S.J. was president of the College from 1911-1918 and 1924-1927. Known for his fundraising, his successor John Fox, S.J., named the new library after him. The Joshua and Leah Hiatt Wings were completed in 1979. Jacob Hiatt (H ‘73) was a benefactor and trustee of the College and the wings were dedicated in honor of his mother and father who were victims of the Holocaust.
