Historical Note

The Academic Governance Council represents the faculty's interest in regards to all issues of an academic nature. Additionally, it serves as the primary resource for addressing faculty concerns about the academic life of the College and all matters relating to the College administration and divisions outside of Academic Affairs.

Initially, the council was called the Academic Affairs Council but was changed to its current name at the beginning of the 2017-2018 academic year.
