Historical Note

Holy Cross sponsors 27 varsity sports, each of which competes at the NCAA Division I level. The women's softball team has participated in the NCAA and the Patriot League for tournament play. Players on the team have earned numerous awards such as the Patriot League All-Tournament Team award and the Academic All-Patriot League award. Additionally, the team was the winner of the Patriot League tournament in 1998, playing Lehigh in the final two games.
