Historical Note

Holy Cross sponsors 27 varsity sports, each of which competes at the NCAA Division I level. The women's ice hockey team was elevated from a club sport to varsity in 1999. The team participates in the ECAC for tournament play. Players on the team have earned numerous awards such as the AHCA Division III All-American award in 2010-2012, the Cooney Memorial Award in 2006 and Crusader of the Year in 2012.
