Historical Note
Holy Cross sponsors 27 varsity sports, each of which competes at the NCAA Division I level. The team has participated in a variety of regattas as well as in the Patriot League for competitive racing. As part of training, the women's rowing team has traveled to other locations to practice during the late winter and early spring part of the season, such as to England in 2012 and Florida in 2014. The women's rowing team has earned numerous awards such as the Head of the Charles Regatta, the Irving-Christensen Cup and the U.S. National Rowing Championship.
