Scope and Contents This record group includes several discrete photograph collections that were primarily donated by Holy Cross Alumni. These collections date from the 1920s to 2001 and relate to life at Holy Cross. Each has retained its provenance and the original organizational scheme developed by the creator of these collections has been maintained whenever possible. This collection contains print, digital files and slides of photographs taken by Matthew V. Byrne from 1968 to 1972. The bulk of these images appear in the 1970 and 1971 editions of the Purple Patcher, the student yearbook.
