Diary VIII: College of the Holy Cross, 1937-1940
Scope and Contents
This collection contains the personal papers of Fr. Bean including fifteen personal diaries dating from 1920-1961, certificates and correspondence. Additionally, there is a large scrapbook filled with newspaper clippings, most of which pertain to Holy Cross athletics. This scrapbook is fragile due to the age of the clippings. Finally, there is album with photographs dating from 1914,1930-1931, 1940 and 1951. These are personal photographs of Fr. Bean and include images of Holy Cross, Weston, fellow Jesuits, Port Townsend, WA and his travels. Some photographs were not affixed to the pages. These were removed and placed in archival album pages and placed in the box with the album.
