Diary and Address Book, 1921

This collection contains the papers of Fr. Ahearn. The first two folders has correspondence dating from 1917-1963. This includes personal letters dating 1916-1948 from family members; some letters congratulating him for going into the priesthood, Christmas greetings and correspondence between Rev. Ahern and his colleagues, many dealing with matters concerning Holy Cross. The condition of some of the letters is poor, and some are incomplete. Additionally, the collection has his undated hospital visitation book as well as his personal diary/address book from 1921. The diary contains few written entries but a considerable amount of addresses. There is one folder of personal records, which has certificates, awards, and Mass cards. Finally, there are fourteen photographs in the collection and it is believe these are of family and friends. The photographs likely date between 1900 and 1965.
