This collection contains materials primarily documenting the Holocaust as well as World War II through primary and secondary resources. The marjorly were collected by Rev. Vincent A. Lapomarda, S.J., while he was researching his book, "The Jesuits and the Third Reich." Some were donated to Fr. Lapomarda due to his research or connection with the Hiatt Holocaust collection. There are a few items that pertain to the establishment of the Hiatt Holocaust Collection at Holy Cross.

The marjority of the collection date to 1979 to 1989 but there are a few items dating to the 1940s.
