Scope and Contents
This collection includes personal correspondence, ephemera, diary and photograph albums of Rev. William Donalson, S.J. The albums contains his personal photographs of Shadowbrook (the Jesuit Novitiate in Lenox, MA), Jesuits, family, sports and other activities. Items that were stuffed inside the albums were removed and sleeved in archival album pages for preservation purposes.

Biographical Note
William Donaldson was born on June 2, 1906. He entered the Jesuits on August 14, 1923 and was ordained on June 23, 1935. At Holy Cross, he taught Latin, English, Greek, religion, technical drawing and classics. He died on May 24, 1978.
