This collection contains the papers of George F. O'Dwyer including correspodnence and his research notes. The majority is his research notes and it contains information on a variety of topics pertaining to Irish and Irish Americans in the New England. Biographical Note

George F. O’Dwyer did historical research on Irish in New England. He lived in Lowell, Massachusetts and wrote a number of articles on the Irish and Irish-Americans. Additionally, he wrote the book, Irish Cahtolic Genesis of Lowell.
