Biographical Note
George Trevor (1892-1951) was a sports writer and an authority on golf and Ivy League sports. He edited the Football Annual and compiled the All-American Football Team for the New York Sun. He was born in Cooperstown, New York and attended Yale University. During World War I, he was a second Lieutenant attached to the Army War College. He was a president of the New York Writer’s Association.
