Scope and Contents

This collection contains 51 oversized ink and pencil drawings by Berryman. Though most are undated, many of the cartoons depict political leaders and events of 1924-1926, when Calivn Coolidge was President and Al Smith was a dominating poltiical figure. Other figures illustrated include Herbert Hoover, Henry Ford, Charles G. Dawes, Andrew W. Mellon, and William G. McAdoo.

Scope and Contents This collection contains papers related to Walber’s service as an Intelligence Officer in the US Army. Notably, it includes cartoons drawn by an official illustrator of the S.S. Magazine ‘Das Schwartzer Korps' while the cartoonist was in prison camp. These cartoons give the cartoonist’s impressions of life at the camp from the prisoner’s point of view.
