Scope and Contents

This collection contains 51 oversized ink and pencil drawings by Berryman. Though most are undated, many of the cartoons depict political leaders and events of 1924-1926, when Calvin Coolidge was President and Al Smith was a dominating poltiical figure. Other figures illustrated include Herbert Hoover, Henry Ford, Charles G. Dawes, Andrew W. Mellon, and William G. McAdoo.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of correspondence and writings of Jack Deedy and is arranged in four series. The first series contains Deedy’s personal correspondence with Bishop Wright dating from 1951 to 1981. This correspondence, a mixture of handwritten and typed letters, mostly concerned with editorials and newspapers. There are letters from Pittsburg and postcards from when Deedy visited Rome.
