Biographical Information and Clippings, 1892-1996

The Biographical and Clippings series mostly holds biographical information and most of these materials date to after Guiney’s death in 1920. This series not only gives insight into the life and work of Louise Imogen Guiney but also highlights some of the available scholarship regarding her work. Most of the clippings date to Guiney’s lifetime and it is likely they were collected by her or by her cousin, Grace. Originally, the clippings were pasted into a portfolio or scrapbook of some sort. They were photocopied and were discarded due to the poor condition of the originals.
