Biographical Note

Rev. Leonard Nota, S.J. was born in Naples, Italy. He served with the Jesuit missions in Missouri and parishes in St. Mary’s County in Maryland. He was a professor of Philosophy and Theology at Georgetown College. He arrived at Holy Cross in 1869 and taught Philosophy until his death in 1870.
