Donohue’s Harold M.Gore award for his contribution to Parochial League basketball along with the speech given in his honor in 1948.

This collection mostly contains correspondence as well as personal and military papers of Fr. Gallagher. Additionally, there are a few photographs of friends and family. Of particular note are materials pertaining to his service as Navy Chaplain during World War II. In addition to correspondence, there are photographic negatives of a mass he conducted on a beach in the Pacific. The materials in the collection date from 1898 to 1964 with the majority dating from 1940 to 1964.
