This collection consists of notes and writings used by Fr. Higgins when he gave retreats as well as his personal retreat notes. There is one folder of clippings, brochures and material collected by him to use during his retreat. Additionally, the collections has two certificates awarded to Fr. Higgins. Both are in Latin.

This collection contains one hundred letters written by Rev. Tehan to Sister Mary Louise (Hannah Carrey). Topics of the letters range from encouragement from Rev. Tehan to Hannah Carrey to enter the religious life, personal issues of Sr. Mary Louise and news of her family. There are fifty-one dated letters and forty-nine undated letters.

Scope and Contents This collection contains the personal papers of Rev. Town. There are two diaries which contain the details of the day-to-day life of Jerome Town, S.J. in the collection. The diary from 1909 details his study and travels in and around Belgium while he was a student in the country. The diary from 1912 details his daily activities as a teacher at Holy Cross. The Correspondence includes postcards, most sent from Belgium and written in French. Also contained are two retreat resolutions written...

Scope and Contents

This collection contains the papers of Fr. Prendergast dating from 1872 to 1924. Materials include correspondence, personal items such as receipts and photographs, account books, and religious writings. The religious items forms the majority of the collection and mostly consists of sermons and retreat notebooks. Lecutres may also be found in the collection. Finally, the collection has one of Fr. Prendergast's stoles, which is in fragile condition.
