This collection was assembled by Patrick O’Connor. It consists of assorted documents, each with an autograph of a governor of Massachusetts. In total, there are 36 governors' autographs in the collection. They are arranged chronologically with each governor having his own folder. The collection begins with John Hancock who served from 1780-85 and ends with Ebenezer Draper who served, 1901-1911. This small autograph book contains dated and undated signatures from primarily Jesuits and Novices from the 1880s. Many of the signers wrote messages, approximately half were written in Latin and the other half in English with one in an Asiatic language.
