This collection holds materials pertaining to John McLaughlin's political campaign for the United States Senate in 1970. It mostly holds news releases issued by his campaign but also contains position papers, newspaper clippings, speeches, correspondence and other election materials. There is an audio recording of an event held on September 12, 1970. Rev. Vincent Lapomarda, S.J. also spoke at the event and is featured in the recording.
