Scope and Contents

This record group mostly contains student handbooks created by the division of Student Affairs. The handbooks date from circa 1920 to 2017. There are some gaps in the collection and it is not known if it is due to a handbook not being published that year or if a copy was never transferred to the archives. Additionally, there are copies of annual reports from the division, printed material such as flyers and brochures, and blank student id cards dating from 1950 to 1989.

Scope and Contents This record group documents the activities and responsibilities of the Division of Student Development and Mission through the papers of the division’s vice presidents and deans. It is divided into the seven series and includes: Early History (1882-1960); Rev. Charles J. Dunn, S.J. (1959 – 1968); John E. Shay Jr. (1967-1971); Donald T. McClain (1968-1978); Rev. Earle L.
