Scope and Contents This collection documents Aram Pothier’s political career. Folder 1 contains twenty letters written in 1889 while Pothier was in Paris during the Universal Expedition. The letters are to his brother, Joseph Pothier. Folder 2 contains inauguration speeches and an address to the state legislature. Folder 4 contains memorial booklets. This collection contains one small scrapbook of a trip to the Alaska-Yukon-Seattle Exposition kept by James A. Athy during the summer of 1909. The volume contains newspaper clippings and other ephemera of the excursion. Additionally, there are photographs of the Exposition and ephemera, which is believed to have been a part of the original scrapbook.
