Scope and Contents This collection contains the personal papers of Fr. Bean including fifteen personal diaries dating from 1920-1961, certificates and correspondence. Additionally, there is a large scrapbook filled with newspaper clippings, most of which pertain to Holy Cross athletics. This scrapbook is fragile due to the age of the clippings. This collection contains the personal correspondence and records of Fr. Connors. The majority of the material is speeches and sermons that he gave during his tenure at Holy Cross. There are also undated and unnamed photographs in this collection.

Also included are manuscript copies of books written by him as well as a scrapbook documenting the publicity of his book, Hebrewisms of West Africa. This collection mostly includes correspondence dating from the 1930s through the 1970s. It also contains Fr. Marique’s documentation of “Classical Folia'' and the Leaders of Iberian Christianity. There are a number of Fr. Marique’s personal effects, such as his Daily Missal. Finally, the collection has an oversized certificate belonging to Fr. Marique that is written in Latin.

Scope and Contents This collection contains the papers of Fr. Reidy including correspondence from family, friends, colleagues and other Jesuits. The topics discussed in this correspondence ranges from personal information, activities and issues at Holy Cross and its History department, to the activities of the American Jesuit Historical Conference and other historical organizations. This collection contains the personal correspondence of Rev. McLoughlin. There is also correspondence concerning Mary Roberts who left a convent and sought McLoughlin’s help in clearing an issue she had with the convent. Additionally, there is a retreat notebook which McLoughlin wrote probably as a student at Holy Cross.
