College Image Collection
Scope and Contents
The College Image Collection is an artificially constructed assemblage of visual materials, primarily photographs, assigned to this collection due to their visual content. The earliest images date to the mid 19th century with the bulk dating to the 20th century. While a variety of formats are represented, the majority are black-and-white photographs.
In many instances, the provenance, photographer and/or copyright holder for individual items are not known. This information is typically noted on the individual photograph, if available. The College of the Holy Cross does not hold copyright to all of the images in this collection.
