Rev. Thomas L. Kelly Papers

The collection contains materials collected and used by Rev. Kelly to write the histories and biographies during the course of his career. His work included a history of Mount Saint Mary’s College and a biography on Rev. James Mullen. The collection also includes personal correspondence, and a two volume autobiography written in 1906. There is photographs and images of individuals featured in his writings as well as notes on a biography of Bishop Fenwick of Boston.

This collection contains the personal correspondence of Rev. McLoughlin. There is also correspondence concerning Mary Roberts who left a convent and sought McLoughlin’s help in clearing an issue she had with the convent. Additionally, there is a retreat notebook which McLoughlin wrote probably as a student at Holy Cross.

This collection includes personal correspondence, ephemera, diary and photograph albums of Rev. William Donalson, S.J. The albums contains his personal photographs of Shadowbrook (the Jesuit Novitiate in Lenox, MA), Jesuits, family, sports and other activities. Items that were stuffed inside the albums were removed and sleeved in archival album pages for preservation purposes.
