There is also correspondence concerning Mary Roberts who left a convent and sought McLoughlin’s help in clearing an issue she had with the convent. Additionally, there is a retreat notebook which McLoughlin wrote probably as a student at Holy Cross.

This small autograph book contains dated and undated signatures from primarily Jesuits and Novices from the 1880s. Many of the signers wrote messages, approximately half were written in Latin and the other half in English with one in an Asiatic language.

This collection includes personal correspondence, ephemera, diary and photograph albums of Rev. William Donalson, S.J. The albums contains his personal photographs of Shadowbrook (the Jesuit Novitiate in Lenox, MA), Jesuits, family, sports and other activities. Items that were stuffed inside the albums were removed and sleeved in archival album pages for preservation purposes.
